General:Restart Watchdog for Windows will monitor any DDE compliant application. Should the application not respond or close out, Restart Watchdog will restart the PC.
Environment:PC running Windows 95, 98, NT, or 2000.
Configuration:The application resides in the Task Tray. Left clicking on its Task Tray Icon accesses the Configuration Menu item. Clicking on it, causes the Configuration Window to appear. The configuration consists of supplying the DDE Name and DDE Topic of the application to monitor. In addition there is the Arm Time (time until the checking starts), the Check Time (how often to check), and Try Count (how many failures in a row to tolerate before restarting the PC).
